Our reading programme is based on the well-established primary literacy programme Oxford Reading Tree. This challenging and highly successful programme originated and is widely used in the United Kingdom where it has been proven to be a very effective and progressive method of teaching a child to read through enjoyment and play. It has received accolades of praise from many teachers, parents and students because it prepares pre-schoolers to be independent readers. This programme was conducted at YMCA (Stevens Road) and many private childcare centres at their locations for the childrens' and parents' convenience.
